Details
God's Country Racing Association (GCRA) was formed in 1970 by a
group of automotive enthusiasts who shared common interests and
wanted to create a wealth of knowledge and shared resources. In 1974, God's Country Racing Association began the
presentation of the Annual Custom Auto Show at the Mary E.
Sawyer Auditorium. Since the first GCRA car show, the
participation has continued to grow each year until the Sawyer
facility had insufficient space. The increase in both public
and participant interest resulted in a move to the La Crosse
Civic Center.
